iPhone: gps satellite signal recognizing function(repost)

Hello! I was publishing a iPhone app project jop here at RAC a week ago. The job is finished so far but the coder has a problem to recognize if the iPhone hat gps satellite signal access or not. So I ask here for a function or the necessary code in objective-c that can do this: -check in a time loop if the iPhone can receive gps satellite signals. -if not, start the loop again (must not be 1000 times a second; every 0.1 or 0.2 seconds is enough) -if yes, open an alert box and stop the loop -please comment the source code -make my a small built of it so that I can test it on my iPhone. I will send you my iPhone serial number later IMPORTANT: Only the real satellite gps signals are important! If the iPhone is able to give a location based on mobile cell informations, it is not enough! Then the loop have to go on. Please send me your bid only if you have already done it. And only if you have not only a Mac. You have to own an iPhone because you cannot simulate gps functions with the simulator.
