Dear Sir, I had done a similar project with this requirement, it was Project Resource Scheduling through Matlab in my final year project. It is very much important to schedule any resource perfectly for maximum optimization and utilization of that resource. There are many methods for optimization in Artificial Intelligence. We may choose any one as per project requirement. As per my knowledge, it will be a Windows Stand alone application. We may use Microsoft excel for database purpose and c# for code behind. At first i want to design demo version of windows application through .Net and connect excel as database with the help of Object linking and embedding database (oledb) connection. If connection of excel is completed, it will be very much easy to insert , update data or retrieve data from excel sheet. I think it is very much important to know your requirement for this project and what are the resources you want to use, for complete understanding. So its a humble request to get into a discussion.
