We are trying to construct and email template to send to our customers which will include the customers order details and a link through to the Amazon website to leave a rating. When Amazon sends these emails they use a security token so that the customer does not have to login, they can just fill in the short form in the email, then click submit and that is all.
We would like to replicate this but are unable to use the security token, but we would like to be able to at least pass the contents of the email form to the Amazon website so that once they have logged in they do not have to enter it all again.
The Amazon email form generates a link to something along these lines:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feedback/email-excellent-fb.html/ref=fb_single_inelig?ie=UTF8&isCBA=&isWS=&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&order=202-3308018-SAMPLE&token=6E4841F91533E814486334DF0AA7AAC67F470E9B
or another link:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feedback/leave-customer-feedback.html/ref=fb_single_inelig?ie=UTF8&isCBA=&isWS=&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&order=202-3308018-SAMPLE&token=6E4841F91533E814486334DF0AA7AAC67F470E9B
We are able to setup all of the other values, except the security token, but without this it just sends us to a generic feedback page showing all of the customers orders. As the customer will have entered the comments and ratings in the email they will be frustrated about entering them again, so we need to find a way around this. We do have original email feedback templates available but these will only allow one click before Feedback is placed so we cannot make it available to all or the link will no longer work.
If you know of any way that either the Amazon security token can be generated, or that the details can be passed through to Amazon in a way that will duplicate the entries from the email onto the Amazon page, so that the customer just has to log in and click submit, please place a bid. We would suggest doing some trials first if possible.
Thanks
