I have an ever growing collection of dvds Id like to be able to catalogue in a database that i could call up at any time and check titles according to various search criteria.
I want the program to be very very stripped down and functional... No need for fancy graphics or animations or anything like that. The only graphic i would need would perhaps be the ability to add a small pic of the dvd cover viewable in each 'info screen' for each title i own.
Also the abilty to print off lists according to entire collection, genre etc would be nice. Again print friendly is desireable as opposed to graphic heavy bloat.
As an added feature I would like to be able to mark a title as on loan e.g. if i have lent it to a friend and the ability to add the persons name if this is the case.
To get an idea of what im after id like something akin to powermovielist ([login to view URL]) but for use on my desktop i.e an executable program and not for the web....
I would also like the ability to easily back up my database at anytime to prevent data loss due to drive errors etc..

## Platform
I run windows xp - so this would be the platform it would need to run on - again as stripped back as possible would be great - no bloat is the general aim.
