I need a website that's currently in semi-static form redone in WordPress and proper 301 redirects added on all old URL's. Not all the pages will be migrated, but Google's seeing 1970 indexed pages. Only content of relevant pages will be migrated, so I think it'll be around half that number, possibly less. A lot of the pages have very little content, but the main concern is that it's 301 redirected. There's an easy plugin for implementation of that too so it should be straightforward work.
It's a travel site, and has quite a few manually designed maps. These can be replaced by Google Maps. There are about 12 regional map pages to be configured, with dots on them (the post types must have a field for Google Map Coordinates, or ability to edit GM coordinates on those post types), clicking through to various hub pages (part of the content pages).
The current site was built on forum technology which is now obsolete, so I'd like to use WP as an article submission for submitting new 'listings'. These can be anything from accommodation to attractions that get listed under the various category hubs. Making use of posts will enable custom post types for listings. We might have custom post types of accommodation, attractions, things to do and service providers possibly. I think that would be a good mix.
In terms of design, I'm happy to use a theme of my choice, but suggestions on a responsive theme would be nice, something very basic as I don't want to spend too much time on design (I can do that later).
