Fix a social network script on my site

Hello I have a website that uses a very simple custom built CMS. We had someone create a script that allows us to upload an item to our website from our admin, then if we put a tick in a box for Facebook and twitter it will post a short description with the picture and URL back to that page. For some reason this doesn't work with twitter and Face book in the UK. The developer got it working with indian accounts but has said it must be different for the UK. So all the code is there and works but it just doesn't work with UK face book and Twitter and thats what we need it to do. This is a simple task and shouldn't take long at all if you think you can do this please let me know. You would have to do the following Create a test twitter account in the uk Create a test Facebook account in the uk Get the software posting on both uk websites from our admin
