Diet Software Modifications and Redesign

**PLEASE DO NOT BID WITHOUT READING THE FULL JOB DESCRIPTION **We have developed a diet calculator software that can be downloaded at this [link][1] Currently this calculator runs off of a microsoft access database that I have the ability to update and users can download the new database when it is ready. I have the ability to send messages to users via the software using an admin page on my site. I would like to add the following features to this software. **VERY IMPORTANT: I want a coder that will take pride in this project and come up with their own ideas as to how we can improve this software’s functionality and appearance.** 1. I want users to be able to create a profile with their personal info so that they do not have to enter Step 1 each time. I want them to be able to select their profile from a drop down menu. I also want the calculator to store each profile’s results their PC so that they can see an average of their results over time. 2. Link logo in the top left directly to website to increase chances that user will access site. 3. Try to get all foods and categories on one easy to manage page without a pulldown menu. I want input from you the coder on how we can redesign the layout to make this calculator more user friendly. 5. Somehow distinguish "Send to a friend" button from other buttons. (change colour and put it off on its own) 6. Add a few sentences instructions on how to use the tool for each step 7. once the gender "Male" has been entered, remove the pregnant and lactating pull-down menus options. 8. Change the content on the “about this tool?? page Please send me your ideas of what you think can be done with this project. Any examples of software that you have developed before would be appreciated. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform My web site is on a linux server I need this software to run on windows
