I have a Delphi component which implements the AIM / ICQ protocol. I can't seem to get the File Transfer feature of it to work, although the programmer seems to have written alot of code for it.
It logs in fine, sends/receives messages, handles buddies, however I really need a programmer to add the File Transfer feature and fix up any other bugs that may be in the code.
It could be as easy as setting a few flags, and it could be as hard as debugging the protocol on a packet level. Luckily the Gaim project at [login to view URL] has a good implementation of the AIM/ICQ protocol and you can use this as a source code reference.
I also need any bugs fixed in the basic IM operations (login, logout, buddies, messages, file xfer).
I can't send all the source code until a programmer is selected, so please be very good at reading Delphi code and understanding Instant Messaging communications. Attached is one of the source code files so you can get a feel for it.
This may be an ongoing project if I can find a competant developer for it. There are several other protocol aspects I'll need added once this project is complete.
I look forward to you bid!
