I need a small program that will migrate sites easily from one server to another. It should set itself up on the source server and change all sites on IIS to use port 81 instead of 80. It would then listen to port 80 and forward all TCP/IP requests from port 80 to port 81. The program would also be set up on the target server. The migration would work like this. The program would detect all user folders in the c:\hshome directory (there are about 300 to 400 users folders). It would then confirm the existence of each user folder on the target server in the d:\hshome directory and also check if the user directory on the target server is empty based on certain criteria. If the user folder exists and is empty, it would zip all folder/files in that user folder on source server (excluding some sub folders which can be specified) and then transfer it to the target server. There it would have to unzip the files. Each user directory contains domain folders (in the form [login to view URL]). The source program (after transfering the files) should then forward all TCP/IP requests for the domains in the user directory to port 80 on the new server instead of the current forwarding to port 81 on the local server It should continue this till all users are migrated. The transfer should be able to resume if the program crashes and it should also be able to reverse the port changes in IIS. The way TCP/IP forwarding would ideally work is that for each connection received, it will open a connection with the target (which can be the local server or the target server). It would then act as a proxy once the connection has been established. For local forwarding (port 80 to 81), it should forward the requests to the same IP the connection was received on (only difference is port change). For forwarding to the target server, a list would be prepared. If the connection is received on this IP port 80, it would be forwarding to a target IP port based on the list The program should be robust and multi-threaded. TCP/forwarding in the same manner would have to be setup for port 21 and port 443. Port 21 could be changed to port 22 and port 443 to 444 locally. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
