I have a relatively strange problem with wordpress.
I have 2 WP installations on 1 server. Meaning that the first installation is located [url removed, login to view] and the other installation is located [url removed, login to view]
Now the problem lies in this:
I have a plugin installed on the second WP installation that automatically rewrites any given content. And to go with it, I have a plugin that allows users to submit their post from the front page.
So as the user enter their content in to that WP page, its automatically rewritten.
Now the plugin rewrites the articles not inside the database but externally, so it only shows that the article is rewritten. The original article within the database stays the same. Every time the author refreshes the page – the article gets rewritten again.
On the first WP installation I have lots of other plugins that help me maintain the first installation.
Now my problem is that I want the page from the second WP installation to be displayed inside a page on my first WP installation.
And I ONLY want the CONTENT to be displayed in the first WP installation page.
As far as I have tried, I can’t get this done with an iFrame. Because the iframe doesn’t support the display of a page/post only.
Another thing is that I want the page from the second WP installation to be displayed even after the user submits his content. So it would look like all of the action is going on in the first WP installation.
I have talked to about 8 programmers so far and no one knows how to do this right. I really hope there is a professional programmer here who could help me out.
