REQUIREMENTS ??" HTML TRANSCRIPTION PROJECT I have a scanned document that I need transcribed as HTML ??" it consists of 24 small pages of material ... it's a camera manual. I have already transcribed pages 1-9. I need the rest of the pages transcribed to match the work I've already done. I need each of the short pages transcribed separately ??" each page will be inserted (by me) into a database as a separate record. Required output ??" text file or Word or OpenOffice document containing HTML (with page numbers above each page) so I can select and paste the HTML for each page into a field in my MySQL database (via Cpanel). General guidelines: The text needs to look like the original manual (or as close as possible). Spelling errors won't be tolerated. Things that are in uppercase (UPPERCASE) in the manual need to remain in uppercase. Things that are in italics need to be in the HTML italic tags *italic*. Things that are in bold need to be inside a HTML bold tag - **bold**. Lists need to be transcribed as HTML lists if possible. See example. For each paragraph I want a
at the beginning of each paragraph, and if the paragraph is indented (see example on page 9 and transcription below) I need two spaces. **The tables on pages 31 and 32 need to be transcribed as HTML tables. Please look at these tables before you bid on this project.** There's an example page (page 9) transcribed to my requirement in the attachments. In the file attachment I've included the pages to be transcribed and a copy of the requirements. The files contain identical content, but I've uploaded them in Word .DOC, Acrobat .PDF and OpenOffice .ODT. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
