Make this application safari and ipad compatible

I have several applications that work well on firefox and IE but dont work well on safari and the ipad. We will start with one in this project and then expand to others if it works well.. For this first one, I would like you to look at [login to view URL] This application is open source and i installed the source on my server and am running it but my problem that i want you to fix, is that it does not work on safari or the ipad. login to their demo above from ipad or safari and note how the buttons do not work. What i want you to do is make a fix for that to work on the ipad and safari and provide me with the source code changes needed for that. since this app is open source, you can download it and tweak the code as needed and then give me the changes.
