3D Character

Hi, I'm looking for someone to design a 3D character. I will supply images which will show the level of detail that I'm looking for. I would like someone to take these images and develop an entirely new character. The images are a starting point in the design process they are not to be cut-n pasted. The images will be used to make themed navigation menu icons. Which is also something we can discuss or make part of the project. I would like the characters to be designed in Blender or 3D Max as long as the 3D Max files can be opened in Blender, and the character should be ready for animation, we can discuss this aspect during negotiations. I'm not a graphic designer but to the best of my knowledge, designs made in 3D Max and Blender are vector graphics hence they are scalable, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm real easy to work with, if you have any concerns or questions about the project please make me aware of them. Please be careful with your job completion dates I do not want the project rushed. I consider my self to be understanding and professional and I would require that anyone bidding on the job be able to have Skype audio conversations once the project is underway. I understand that software like Illustrator, Inkscape, and CoralDraw are vector graphic software, but I don't think there appropriate for the job, but I'm open to suggestion.
