Hi Based on the requirement and the docs attached ..I have the following queries.. 1. where is the linux server and what flavour it is e. RHEL or OEL or SUSE and its verrion? 2. What database are you going to use? 3. what kind of remote connectivity you allow? e.g. secure desktop or RSA key or something else.. I suggest you should go go for amazon cloud where you can create the linux server in 5 minutes and the whole installation can be done in less than 10 hrs and remote connectivity to the amazon cloud is also very fast. Also the rental per hour if you choose RHEL 55.5 with 7.5 gb RAM with 110 gb Hard Disk will be 50c and this is much more cheaper you can think of. If you allow me to install this project in amazon cloud I can help you to setup the user account and chose and create appropriate linux box for you. as an example if you decide to gow with oracle then in amazon cloud the pre-configured oracle db linux is available and the only you need to do is to the post install steps which can be done in 1hr and other config and install steps for the Install sixCMS can be done in 4 hours . After you test the application and later if you want to migrate to you local linux box which can easily be done..the decision is yours..
