Help for custom options prices in Magento store

We have an ecommerce site with some messed up pricing at the moment. We want our site to show our customers that they are getting sale prices, and what percentage off they are getting. Right now, they can only see that for the main items, but not the custom options. And it only shows them the regular price and sale price. We would like it to have a little graphic showing "30% OFF" or whatever the discount is. We also want a callout box going down the right hand side of the custom options at the bottom of the page. We need this fixed asap! Thanks!
