1. Maintenance. 1a: update WordPress & plugins and make sure everything works fine. 1b: empty the cache, check the cache settings, and make changes if necessary. 2. Updates. 2a. properly integrate the widgets ‘Trending Now’ and ‘From Around the Web’ with the rest of the site (background color, font, empty space between widgets, etc). 2a1. Add thumbnails to the ‘Trending Now’ widget. The plug-in has this function, but it needs some manual adjustments to work well. 2b. fix and improve the comment section. 2b 1. Align the comment field with the rest of the page. 2b2. Add a maximum width to the comment field. The field currently has no maximum, resulting in a conflict with the widgets on the right. See this page for an example: [login to view URL] 2b3. Delete useless empty space between post and comment field. 2b4. Add the following functionalities to the comment field: Bold, Italic, Underline, Unordered List, Link, and Link to Picture (so the picture shows up in the comment). I really like the simple look of the comment field of [login to view URL], see for example: [login to view URL] 2c. delete the large empty space between the advertisement (under the comment field) and the footer. 2d. fix and improve the footer. 2b1. Widen the widgets to create a more coherent design. 2b2. Add the ‘Trending Now’ widget. 2bc: Add thumbnails to Recent Post widget.
