I would like to develop a home energy monitoring system able to monitor the total home energy flow (both direction) and appliances (load) energy flow. The system comprises a master unit (PCB) to be installed on a DIN rail in the main home switchboard and a plurality of client units to be installed on the plug of the home loads.
The client units and master unit shall communicate via power line.
The client units shall be able to connect or disconnect the load on end-user request.
The master unit shall be able to connect to external server though the home internet access.
The user shall be able to connect to the home energy monitoring through the internet or through the home net.
The master unit comprises a SD card for local data storage.
The master unit can be configured as client if needed (in case more master units are installed).

define the EU standards to target
select the components and the suppliers
design the PCB layout
select the manufacturer
make a prototype
test the prototype and ship to us
eventually assist us in certification process
make modification in case we fail certification

The winner must then cooperate with the software developer team (android, os, chrome, etc).
