I need a Lambda function on AWS, that the input would be the bucket/folder and the output would be the SHA-256 hash for all the files contained in the bucket/folder
The total files are over 200GB in one folder.
Example:
Input: bucket/folder
File that it would hash together
bucket name/foldername/file#[login to view URL]
bucket name/foldername/file#[login to view URL]
bucket name/foldername/file#[login to view URL]
bucket name/foldername/file#[login to view URL]
result: e3b0c44298fc1c149afbf4c8996fb92427ae41e4649b934ca495991b7852b855

Hi, sir. I am a software developer with AWS/hash for 8 years.
I can work by full time for your project and trying to satisfy the requirements.
I want to keep a long-term relationship for customer so I want to give a nice result.
If you want the perfect result, please contact with me.
Best regards.

Don't think hashing of 200gb can be handled with just one lambda, because of the timeout and memory limits, but we can do a decentralized hashing with that same input and output from the lambda invoked.
We will create your lambda solution asap.
We are a team of full stack developers with experience and work already done in this area. For easy tasks we usually get things done in a simple call.

Hello,
I can help you build a lambda function to calculate the hash. Due to the big size of files we may encounter issues with AWS limits of Lambda. Alternative approaches may better suit your problem, especially as the number of files grow.
I have been working with Lambdas to over 3 years and with AWS for over 10 years.
Please contact me to discuss further.

My favorite fruit! I think this information is already stored by AWS and you just to retrieve it properly. Do not spend money on trying to run a Lambda function because you may end up spending a lot of S3 transfer cost and Lambda run costs for information that is readily available.
Feel free to ping me to discuss how I plan to solve it.
Bananas,
hey, I've used AWS lambda's before for on the fly resizing of images being stored in S3. From what i can understand it seems straightforward implementation.
Can you please confirm if you will be providing your aws account for running lambda service should I be running it from my own aws account because that can affect the billing.
we can discuss it further if it sounds good to you and prices are open to negotiation : )
