I need an Android app. I already have a design for it, I just need it to be built.
I’m looking for an Android developer who can create an app to send multiple SMS messages from the mobile.
The message and range of numbers can be entered by the user and the app simple trawls down the range of numbers and sends a SMS to each.
The basic requirements have been written... and the app will NOT be uploaded to the App Store.
Are you a good Android developer?
This is a fixed priced project paying a £15
On running the app, the program displays 7 fields.
FIELD DESCRIPTIONS
———————————-
Start Range
NUMBER
The user can enter an 11-digit number
End Range
NUMBER
The user can enter an 11-digit number
Message
STRING
A free format field allowing the user to enter up to 320 ascii characters.
Sleep
NUMBER
A numeric field that between 01 and 99
Start Time
HH:MM
This field allows the user to enter a time.
End Time
HH:MM
This field allows the user to enter a time.
Last Number Sent
NUMBER DISPLAY ONLY
This is the last number that has been processed
On the screen there will be 3 buttons. “SEND”, “PAUSE” and “CANCEL”
In addition to the buttons, a STATUS line will be displayed.
What happens when the user presses the SEND button?
1. The STATUS line will read, “Processing…”
2. The application will begin with the Start Range number and submit an SMS message using the Message (STRING)
content.
3. IF the mobile device time is greater than after End Time, the application will pause. The STATUS line will read,
“Sleeping…”
4. IF the mobile device time is greater than after Start Time, the application will resume. The STATUS line will read,
“Processing…”
5. The application will display the current number in the field called, Last Number Sent
6. After the application has sent a SMS message, the application will pause (SLEEP) for NN number of minutes.
7. The application will increment the number by one and continue at step 1
What happens when the user presses the CANCEL button?
If the user presses the CANCEL button, the application will end.
The STATUS line will read, “Finished”
What happens when the user presses the PAUSE button?
If the user presses the PAUSE button, the application will wait until the
user presses the SEND button or the CANCEL button.
The STATUS line will read, “Paused…”
Does this help? Do you think you can write this mobile app?
