I'm looking for someone who can write the copy for an e-book I plan to publish. The product we sell is an exclusive discount membership program that small businesses and independent professionals (e.g., insurance or real estate agents) can offer to their customers as a way of thanking them for their business. The customer obviously benefits from the special deals they receive, the business benefits from the goodwill and the brand awareness that comes from having customers use the program. The piece I am looking to have written is about the power of kindness and the impact it can have on us as individuals and professionals. In fact, a couple of potential titles I've been considering are: • The Power of Kindness: How Goodness Creates Greatness • The Power of Kindness: How Ordinary Deeds Create Extraordinary Results From an organizational perspective, one way I see this piece coming together is answering the question "Why Kindness?" in the following sections: Kindness Makes You Happier • research around the psychological benefits Kindness Makes You Healthier • research around the physical benefits Kindness Connects • why some of the most popular viral stories posted on Facebook are heartwarming stories of people helping each other Kindness is Good Business • the kindest people have the biggest social networks, are the best connected • studies showing the direct relationship between employee morale and the bottom line. • it's cheap I've compiled a fair amount of the upfront research that I think will provide the meat to this story, though I obviously wouldn't want the material directly plagiarized. And while I don't have a specific word count in mind, I'm guessing that somewhere between 1,000 and 1,500 words is where it would likely end up. Worst-case scenario: you would provide me with the core story (introduction and individual sections), and I would be able to fill any blanks for myself. Feel free to send me your questions.
