[login to view URL] We collect e-books in PDF-format. We sort them in directories like /eco/, /med/.. Fox-IT can allready collect the PDF2TXT formatting in one file. We look for a program that: can: 1. search/find a keyword in a TXT-file consisting of several converted PDF-files. 2. isolate 3 sentences before the keyword found PLUS 3 sentences after the keyword. 3. Puts the directoryName, keyword, 6 sentences, Title, pageNumber, ISDN number in a MySQL record. "Fox IT" has a (Fox-It) SDK allready, so this SDK-programmers have an advantage on this.. The Foxit SDK ActiveX has demo's with VC 6.0, VB 6.0, Delphi 2007 & C++ Builder 2007. But any other solution that brings us FROM a directory with PDF-files TO the records mentioned above is OK for us. The program should run on Windows-computer (XP,Win7) that receive the daily expanding TXT file (evt with a second file with the (directoryName, keyword, 6 sentences, Title, pageNumber, ISDN number) specifics.
