Windows 7 natively supports multi-touch. We need to track multi-touch WM_TOUCH events regardless of the window that is receiving the touch. The deliverable is source code for a .NET 3.0 or 3.5 console application which reports in realtime:
1. x,y location of the touches
2. when the touches are released
3. window class where the touch occurred
You will need to use DllImport. The "multitouchvista" project may be of use. We will verify on this end on a NextWindow-based multi-touch system running Windows 7. You should not use the NextWindow API (because there is also N-Trig and other device specific APIs). If it helps, you may integrate GPL code, but we need to know if you do.
Communication is preferred.
