Save windows (server ) eventlogs to sql database

Do you want the logs saved row by row, or do you want to store a binary evtx file in a blob to be exported later as evtx files again? Do you need a UI or so you want it as a command line tool? Or maybe an always-running windows service? Should there be a UI for accessing the event logs in the database or will you do that yourself or via another project? Do you already have a schema in mind or should the developer write the schema? It could be a simple schema with basic string/int fields or it could be a more complex schema with separate tables for log sources and levels etc. For 200 I can deliver a simple command line or basic winform application to allow you to supply a database, and server address, and do a simple copy of the logs to one table per log type. Each table will have a hostname column so that you can extract all logs for a specific server for example. I can probably deliver much quicker than ten days but I code in my spare time so just playing it safe. Cheers, Josh
