Spend a Night in a Haunted House

Our company intend to organise a ‘Spend a Night in a Haunted House’ event for corporate companies and group bookings. The evening will run approx 3-4hrs. Details of what the event consists of can be found in the enclosed PDF file. We require a copywriter to write a fictional story that will be used as a script by our character actors who will play the part of the ‘guide’ and the ‘crazy old butler’. We have also considered using another character actor who plays a simple-minded, slightly scary girl dressed in a long white dress, who will also meet, greet and unnerve our guests. As you can see from, the enclosed PDF file the evening consists of various parts: An introduction from the ‘guide’ detailing the history and sinister events of the castle, this is to warm the audience up and hopefully get them unnerved before they enter the castle. Once inside the Castle the ‘crazy old butler’ will greet them, set the scene and explain the purpose of the evening. The purpose of the evening is to split the group into teams, each team takes its turn to find a room within the castle, which may hold a clue to the hauntings. The teams have to try and discover who may be haunting the castle. Teams will keep in touch with the main group and report their progress via a walkie-talkie (mainly so they can hear them scream) The main objective is to scare the participants through a combination of the storyline, our character actors, some simple special effects and the castle itself. The storyline will be used as the main theme for this event, so it has to be good! The actual Castle is fairly derelict but we can add small items of furniture. The groups will be walking around in the dark using a small torch or lantern to light the way. We also want our copywriter to rewrite the PDF file whose purpose is to‘sell’ the event.
