This is a project for an opening frame for a web site.
I am looking for a simulated heart monitor ending in flat line, indicating that the heartbeat has stopped. Haven't the slighest idea of what technology to use to create it, but flash comes to mind. It will be used similiar to a "banner" at the top of a computer related web site.
The plan is to open with the heart beat monitor for a few seconds, then go to a flat line.
Sound is typical of a heart monitor.... Dum-dum-Dum-dum-Dum-Dum then, as the heartbeat stops and the flat line begins Beeeeeeeeeep!
Heartbeats should be about the normal human heart rate of one per second, unless this makes it feel too slow, in which case it could be speeded up.
After the heartbeat and flat line, I would like for it to remain stationary for a few seconds, then fade out and be replaced with text that I can provide.
Here are a couple of examples, but they are not satisfactory for the reason that they don't give the actual feel of a heartbeat flatline alone.
One more thing. And I don't know what I am asking, but it would be wonderful if this design included the ability to resize the frame, if that is a good word, and to control the speed so that if the speed of the heartbeat seems too fast or too slow it could be modified.
I am sorry that I don't have the slightest idea of what such a project should cost.
Thanks for reviewing my project.
