Google maps reverse geocoding & distance function

I have google maps integrated in my vehicle tracking website, the reverse geocoding is also integrated and both function are working fine, i have to make small changes in it, - in maps i want to enable the distance calculation function and direction function - make the reverse geocoding more detailed i.e it should show nearby landmark, school, petrol pump, etc The task is small but requires good knowledge of google maps and there will be other requirements related to this field later on this is initial project
