Hi, I have 5+ years of experience. Developed various projects in .Net with MsSql database. I have done similar projects of migrating VB6 code to VB.NET. I am still providing support for some of clients for their softwares in VB6, that's why my VB6 development is still active and in-practice. Hello! My best advice is to recreate the software from scratch. For this I will need fully functional source code (probably best would be over a NDA). My recommendation would be WPF, C#, following obviously OOP, but also MVVM. Id a database is involved (especially Access .mdb), I suggest shifting to Entity Framework (probably CodeFirst, with or without code migrations) with LINQ. Please let me know your thoughts!
