MAGENTO 2 Project: Brief 25/4/16 I have attached project brief in PDF and Images for references. Objective 0: Website Optimization: The new beta website is currently running pretty slow for some reason, I will need the developer to optimize the website to the maximum potential so its running fastest and efficient. Areas to look at: 1. Large database 2. Not well written scripts 3. Large number of internal links that query the database directly. Objectives 1: 1. Category Page re-design: - Left category to be updated according to category list in supplied PDF Design with light grey background and dark grey header with “filter by” as per the “Master” document 2. Sort by banner to be designed to the same as the master document with supplied sort by fields 3. Products layout to be in a grid by default, with unlimited products per-page the loading system should be ajax style. Same as the reference website. 4. Main product page banner image to be removed. 5. Remove Wish list and compare products function on both category page and product page. Reference Website Page: [login to view URL] Objectives 2: Product Page Update: 1 – Remove wishlist and compare product function 2 – Update the gallery view to same as reference website: [login to view URL] Objective 3: Contact Us Page design: To design a same look and function as reference website: [login to view URL] Contact Us Help Orders/ Shipping Corporate Legal Governance The design and function should be the same. The contact us form should be a light grey background sharp edges boxes same with the input fields to be inkeep with the website theme style. Objective 4: Product images import, they are imported however do now show in the front end. Please investigate and allocate the images to be shown on the front end. Objective 5: Top of page widgets update. The icons should be update to grey like above reference with ajax drop down. First Icon: Social networks Second Icon: Accounts Third Icon: “Setting” This will show Currency logo instead of the default. Currency should include: GBP, EUR, USD. Reference website: [login to view URL] Objective 6: Log in / Create an account page update Both pages to be re-designed to the same as the following reference site: [login to view URL] Objective 7: Add to cart and basket function/ check out page to be replicated to the same style/ function as reference site: [login to view URL] On check out page under “Payment Method” it should be listed “Debit/ Credit Cards” and “PayPal” Displaying logo’s next to each method option. Objective 8: Payment terminals intergration: Global Payments – Merchant check out Paypal – Objective 9: Ensure all pages are responsive as per the supplied design.
