I have a large number of similarly-formatted documents that need to be rebranded. I require a VB Script to be executed in inDesign that will perform simple formatting changes and replace master items. Most of the script is already written. But I cannot figure out how to accomplish the two items shown as incomplete below...
Required formatting changes:
a) Replace a color [done]
b) Replace text [done]
c) Revise metadata (document information) [done]
Replace master items
a) Select and delete specific master items [INCOMPLETE]
b) Open a Source indd file [done]
c) Copy master items [done]
d) Paste copied items into the target document [done]
e) Close Source document [done]
Add a one-character prefix to the document name and apply it to:
a) Master Page footers [done]
b) Metadata [done]
c) Document file name [done]
Adjust the rule above the footer paragraph to accomodate the extra character [INCOMPLETE]
Save the document to the same folder with the one-character prefix [done]
The winning bidder will complete these two items and integrate them into the existing script.
