The role: We are looking for an ambitious, hungry and proactive new business hunter with a desire to succeed and meet targets. You will have experience of selling software testing solutions and services across a variety of verticals. Dealing with high-level decision makers, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build a high level of rapport with prospects and customers. The main responsibilities are: - 100% generation of new business. - Services include test process assessments, professional services, test automation, performance testing, test labs, remote testing. - Working alongside the internal sales team to attend approx. Business meetings as and when required. - Constantly open to internal and client feedback with the ability to interpret and communicate effectively to colleagues. - To ensure the complete sales cycle is maximized. This cycle can be anything from 2 months+ and you will be expected to pitch to pitch at all levels from test managers up to CIO level so excellent communication skills are essential. - Forecasting and strategic planning of market to shape future deals and secure long term contracts. The person: Previous extensive experience of selling software testing solutions and services with broad knowledge of the market. - A proven track record of generating new business with demonstrable and consistent sales performance. - Thorough understanding of the software testing market in the USA & UK. - Credible, well organised, positive and proactive. - Consultative approach. - Target focus and ambitious. - Outstanding written and verbal communication with an ability to build and sustain relationships with clients at a senior level. - Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. - Committed individual who thrives on a challenge. - Key for the successful candidate is to be a high achiever and demonstrate new business sales success.
