Hey Melissa, I'm a world traveler too! Nice to see you here. Do you know what people value? Honesty.
There are many so called "marketers" out there who are doing the same stuff every single time. Probably they don't care about you but I do. At least, I want to. Valuable content is a hard thing to do for some people (and also, people get bored of reading so much yada yada). We can give people what they need to read. Concisely. Engaging them. How does that sound?
Well, if you decide not going with me, I can give you some free advice:
Be the answer to someone's pain. Be the solution to someone's problem. Too many people already talk about themselves and how great their company is or how awesome they are. No one cares. You have to make sure the benefits you provide FAAAR outweigh your customers costs (if there's any).
Everywhere in your website, eliminate the "I" and substitute it with "YOU". It's never about you, it's about what you can do FOR THEM.
In the travel area, I think the goal is to motivate people to be free and just explore our Earth. Many travel bloggers just write about the good stuff, but there's bad stuff too. We (as women) don't have to be afraid of being honest as well.
Peace and have a great weekend!
