Looking to make an App to display news and other information regarding a sports team.
The Specifications that I am looking for are as follows:
1. Three Tab Bar application located on bottom of screen
2. The first Tab Bar being for a News RSS Feed. Although we will have our own website for the RSS Feed (A blogspot account), we would like the RSS Feed to be able to display more than 1 website and will arrange in order of the date. Also, the news article should be displayed IN THE APP ITSELF, not simply direct the user to the website. At the end of the article, however, should be a button that will direct the user to the home website.
3. The Second Tab Bar should display the Schedule for the sports team. Either as a List or a calendar (subject to discussion, taking into consideration easiness of either way for developer). End User should be directed to "today's date."
4. The Third Tab Should be a "More" tab. Under the More tab, I would like a Table List that will have a couple of options. One Option should allow the User to see the "Standings" (i.e. for MLB Standings). Please note that I will not be updating the standings daily, but would like these standings to be gotten from an [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] Website. Moreover, I do not want the tab to simply relocate the end user to the website, but display it in the App itself. I am unsure if this is possible, but this can be subject to discussion. If not possible, then we can relocate the user to "[login to view URL] Standings", and that will be the name of the table cell.
a. Other options under the More Tab should be 1. An On/Off Toggle Live Game Score Push Notifications; 2. On/Off Toggle News Stories Push Notifications for RSS feed; 3. 20 Minutes/45 Minutes/Off Options for Game Alerts (as stated above).
b. Please Note, the On/Off Toggles for the push notifications are described below.
Additional Settings:
I would like there to be an option where the user can select to alert them that the baseball game will be starting in 20 minutes. For example, it the game is a 1:10 start, then at 12:50 the user will get some sort of an alert which tells them the game is starting in 20 minutes. To do this, I believe I would need an onsite server which will be where the 2nd tab mentioned above (for the schedule) will be what the alert goes off of. If this is the case, I may need additional information regarding setup.
I would like there to be an alert notification of the scores. For example, whenever a new inning commences or a team scores, I would like there to be a live game score on the App. Furthermore, I would like this to be static on every screen, but the User can toggle it if they want (meaning, there's a button they can press that can hide it, and another button to show it again)
I would like there to be Notifications. Notifications, specifically, of whenever there is a new article posted. And, notifications of when a new score is posted. Notifications specifically meaning that when the App is not opened, there will be a notice on their Iphone screen.
There should be functional AdBanner displays on the top of every screen.
This is not an exact offer of the description of the application, but it is close. It is subject to more discussion and specification based on the developer's incite. I would like to do this for $500, but that is up to discussion as well. The only issue that I can foresee, and that will have to be discussed, is my ability to set up an on-site server for the team schedule, and giving the user notice that the game will be starting. I am unsure the difficulty of this. If there is an alternative, I am open, otherwise I would like aid from the developer.
Lastly, I want this app to be submittable to the App store. Accordingly, if the app is not able to pass the Apple store specifications or testing, for whatever reason, I am not liable for payment, and will expect a full refund of whatever funds have been relinquished on my part.
Thank you and I look forward to speaking with you
