ETF Portfolio Trading Application

Hi, We would like to develop an application that will make trading recommendations for Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). A more detailed scope of work with screen mockups is attached. Here is some high-level information: * Apply 2 or 3 technical trading methods to around 100 ETFs. The ETFs are organized by groups. * ETF groups are presented in "model portfolios", of which there are 3 pre-defined ones, and a custom one, which will let the user choose which ETF groups to use. * The user will have the ability to look at a candlestick chart of any ETF, upon which the trading methods will be applied, and the most current technical trading recommendation will be displayed. * When there is a change in the trailing stop, when there is a new buy signal, or when there is a new sell signal, the app will email the user, send an sms/text alert, play a sound, and visually notify the user within the app. * App must be cross-platform and work on Windows & Mac. * Data will be end-of-day, and you must provide solution for datafeed. * End user base will be in the tens of thousands. * Performance/speed is critical. * Initially we thought java would be good for cross-platform, but we may consider other options. thank you
