**Basic Outline **I need the server side and client side of a social networking app developed for android devices. **Design** The attached design files pdf contains designs used for a webOS app. The developer will need to take these designs and 'convert' them into a standard android based layout. I have the icons used throughout the app design photos. **Server Side** I am open to any server side technologies that can run on a linux system. I currently have a dedicated server which this will be running on. The server/client setup must allow for real time data communication for receiving private messages and chat messages. A solution that polls the server over and over again to check for new data is not acceptable. The server must be able to handle at least 5,000 concurrent users without lagging or bogging down. The server should be designed so that it can be easily expanded by adding more hardware into the cluster. **Other Details **I would prefer that the developer has experience with iPhone apps and web development as I plan on making a website and iPhone app that all connect to the same server in the future and would like to stick with the same developer throughout.
