This project is to extract and analyze data from the publicly available US Securities Edgar company filing reports ([login to view URL]) The successful freelancer shall receive the following input data: Quarterly Edgar Form 10-K filing files – about 50 sample files. Excel spreadsheet with the following information per company: Form Type Company Name CIK Date Filed File Name The successful freelancer shall create an executable software (with user-friendly interface) to perform the following: 1) HTML tag removal 2) Item Section Extraction 3) Word Counts 4) Reporting 5) Files submission 6) Good Performance The successful freelancer is required to submit the program executable (.exe) and source code files associated with this project for use by the project sponsor.
