Storing simple binary decision tree in database and retrieving it, using NodeJS

Hi, I teach data structures courses in a university, I am sure I can help you. I think the best here would be using a json because it can store data recursively which is great for storing a tree. On each node there should be stored the name of the decision variable as well as a comparison operator and a value to make the decision... or maybe a complex expression for making decisions. On the other hand in order to evaluate this json it is necesary to traverse the tree checking recursively the value of the expression until a leaf of the tree is reached.
