Web-Based Nutrition Planner - Fixing Dynamic Macronutrient Calculation

Description:
I am looking for a skilled web developer who can help me fix an issue with a web-based nutrition planner application. The application is designed to calculate and plan macronutrient intake based on user input, and it allows users to customize their nutrition plan for each day of the week.
Problem:
The issue I'm facing is related to the dynamic updating of macronutrient values and percentages when selecting different days from a dropdown menu. Currently, the macronutrient values and percentages are not accurately reflecting the selected day's data.
Scope of Work:
Fix Macronutrient Calculation: The main task is to ensure that when a user selects a specific day from the dropdown menu, the macronutrient values (Protein, Carbs, Fats) and percentages are accurately updated based on the data associated with that day. This involves debugging and fixing the JavaScript code responsible for these calculations.
Code Optimization: Review and optimize the existing JavaScript code to make it more efficient and maintainable.
Testing: Thoroughly test the application to ensure that all changes made do not introduce new issues and that the functionality works as expected.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with web development and debugging.
Familiarity with working on web-based nutrition calculators or similar applications is a plus.
Deliverables:
Updated and tested HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
The application should accurately calculate and display macronutrient values and percentages based on the selected day.
