webpage to check-in students for specific projects using a phone

Build a simple webpage using javascript to enable students to be checked-in with timestamp collected. The code needs to be in javascript. We may not have access to a database, and hence the data needs to be written to and read from files. Basically the project coordinator will check-in the 10-20 students based on their roll-number as below. The objective is to capture the start time for each student, and report it to the supervisor (on another page). This page would be used on mobile phones, and hence the solution needs to work nicely on Android and Apple phones.
