I am a certified paralegal with over 20 years in the legal field. My mayor varies in civil litigation, workers’ compensation, contract law and some basic immigration matters. In the early 2000s I served as the official translator for the State of Florida’s, Insurance Commissioner’s Office. I assisted in translating the weekly newsletter as well as other pertinent documents.
I am currently the paralegal for an in-house counsel at a major health management organization. In addition to assisting counsel with contracts and litigation matters, I also assist in translating documents and contracts for our non-English speaking clients. I also deal directly with our Human Resource Department for the completion and submission of certain immigration documents, including but not limited to H1B, I-539, I-129, I-130, N-400, I-485, I-765, I-131, etc.
My tasks vary from day to day, including but not limited to, preparing Business Associates Agreements, NDAs, General Service Agreements, Master Services Agreements, LOAs as well as LOIs. I also handle all HR and Immigration matters and confidential documents.
I am also a Notary Public.
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. My mother was Colombian and my father was Cuban. I am fluent in Spanish; written, grammatical and oral.
