A power transmission system is required for an industrial power saw. the saw will be powered by a 19 KW electric motor rotating at 183.22 rad/sec. The drive shaft for the saw should rotate at approximately 52.3 rad/sec. the cutting operation is expected to be generally smooth but moderate shock is expected under certain conditions. the saw is expected to be working 16 hours per day, 5 days per week, with design life of 5 years. Design a gear reducer using spur gears to meet these requirements. *the system should contain gears shafts bearings only. *the system should not contain any parts that require regular replacement such as belts. *the calculation that made to chose the material for each component is strongly required.
