Hi, I am proposing we build an app with a simple and user friendly interface that will record and report the required data and that will ensure record integrity (editing records directly into database tables can result in data loss). The app will: - manage tutors (name, subject, location and email) - manage availability (daily availability, leaves, sick days maybe) - manage assignments and schedule (assign students - with name, address, phone, email - to a tutor for a specific day in a time interval) - report each tutor schedule for the next 30 days or less - send schedule by mail to a tutor (if that tutor has an email address defined, of course). Regarding the email sending part, will you be using a private email address (like name[at]mycompany[dot]com) or a public address (like GMail or Yahoo)? HI, I have excellent experience in Microsoft technologies like MS ACCESS, Excel etc. for this project we will capture the tutor information like subjects, contact information etc. Now for every tutor the syste can come up with a schedule based on pre-planned logic for next 1 month. Once this is avalale you can edit this and then there will be a facility to email this. I currently work at a University where I use Microsoft Access as a part of my daily routine. I'll build the database and deliver to you within 4 days. As you will see from my profile, I've spent the last forty years working with databases from DB2 to Access 2016. I enhance most of my Access projects by developing either macros and/or VBA modules that are inserted into the database. Most of the projects I have worked on I have been required to take from design to implementation. I am assuming that the historical data necessary to build this teacher database will be supplied by you in either an Excel or a CVS format and I will not be required to get the data into the database via data entry. Obviously, there will be a data entry screen included with the application, I simply don't want to be faced with manually getting the historical data into the database.
