exchange 2010 performance issues

It started last night, we didnt receive emails to our phones, so this morning I rebooted the server. Upon reboot I could see some exchange services did not start themselves which nevever happens. Once I started all the services, a while later the rpc service crashed causing everyone to have to put credentials in again.
If anyone is available to help me debug/resolve this it would be great
