I have a .NET C# SDK for an imaging system. The SDK takes the form of a DLL that can be incorporated into a .NET project. Our target application is legacy VB6 code. We have created a COM visible DLL that works on the development platform, but we cannot deploy it without getting an error; "ActiveX cannot create object" from our short VB6 test program. I would like to hire someone to make a VB6 deployment package using the VB6 package and deployment wizard, then show me how it is done, so that I can reproduce it on the larger scale legacy program set. I have significant experience with VB.NET and VB6. I have tried many of the solutions to this problem posted in the Internet. I have had some success in the that project has worked sporadically. Obviously, I don't understand what I'm doing and I need help. I can use WebEx meetings to tour a freelancer through the problem on the development machine and a target machine. I have attached the small VB6 program that works as a deployment on the development (VS2010) development machine, but not on the deployment machine. Environment is Windows 7, 32bit.
