We need a system creating which will run as a stand-alone. This system will put an electronic book system on a screen as a double-page spread which will fill a 1024x768 screen. The e-book should have the capacity to fold pages over when clicked. It should also provide a range of additional functionality like search, archive, print, as well as the ability to easily import and format outside material, text or graphics, into an oscreen display. The system will ultimately include sound and video and as it will provide a downloadable file for users, compression is critically important. We must have a system which will create its own reader so that a user can download the reader and then subsequently download a file which, interacting with the reader, will open up on the screen. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site). ## Platform The system needs to be stand-alone and so we need a completely independent programme which is separate from Windows or any other OS just like Adobe or similar.
