| Creating a graphical interface in Java is very tedious. I don't like being restricted by the Layout Managers Java uses; I want to be able to position textboxes, etc. absolutely within a window. Also, I want to be able to just drag and drop GUI elements (textboxes, listboxes, etc.) from a toolbar onto a window. I can do this in Visual Basic and Visual C++, but so far I haven't been able to find a good application to let me do this in Java.1. Forte (from Sun) does allow this, using an AbsoluteLayoutManager from a NetBeans package, but Forte is too slow and cumbersome.2. Visual J# (Visual Studio .NET) allows this, but I want to be able to use JDK, not J#.3. BreezyGUI ??" simplifies the code writing a bit, but doesn't provide a graphical interface for creation4. JBuilder - I've heard JBuilder will do this, but it costs $1000I like using JCreator as my programming environment. What I want is a program that will let me graphically create a GUI interface element (e.g., a window with all its components, etc.), and generate source code that I can drop into a project I create in JCreator.
