This will be a small program that takes information from a free floating text file, and places inside an access Database from a click of the button. It will then with another click of a button extracts the data from the database and place it into a preexisting text file. This will be a fun project for anyone who likes the NFL. This is going to be a using 2005 Madden PC game created files, which are produced for the owner for the owner of the game so there is no hacking or [login to view URL] will open up files called gamelogs which are created whenever an owner of madden plays a game, for this purpose he will be playing another player of the internet ip to ip. After the game there will be a file creator I.E Raiders vs. Steelers.text. These files are standard and never change. So the text will be in the same place every time. I then want to open up the text file and extract all the data from the gamelog into an Access database. I will go over personally what fields need to be [login to view URL] this I want to the program to be able to extract the data from the database and place them into a preexisting text file called [login to view URL] i.e. 49ers.text. It will then extract the league standings and overwrite the ones in league.text.
Let me stress that this is in no way cracking of the game and the game is not required. These files are created by the game for the personally use of the game owners for them to create stat reports and to create online leagues since Madden 2005 doesn’t support online leagues.
Let me explain the reason this mod is needed.
The game has a mode called franchise mode, and after every week it spits out 32 (1 for each team) teamlogs and 1 [login to view URL] file (standing file). This is good but since there is no support for online leagues, owners must play via IP to IP and keep the gamelogs as their stats.

## Platform
Well there is a great SQL mod out for single player game that takes the teamlogs and [login to view URL] file and creates the most detailed website you can imagine with almost any stat possible. Problem is only 1 of those 32 teams in that way have stats generated by a human player.
When you run a human ip to ip internet league you must also run a regular franchise in the background so you can have correct rosters salary cap and players that age and progress. So must online leagues keep two sets of files one for what they call a ghost league where the commish sims the games and there are no stats. This is used just for progression and rosters. The commish keeps a second set with the gamelogs from all the ip to ip games. I want to take the gamelogs import them into a database then overwrite the stats generated by the game in the teamlogs. So when you look at the team logs you will have the ghost franchise roster and team information but the ip to ip human game stats in the other section.
