Local Deals Website

I am looking to create a website that allows consumers in my local area to quickly find food, drink, and any other daily specials offered by bars, restaurants, and other businesses. I envision the website to be searchable by multiple criteria. First, by location: Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach. Second, by day of the week: Monday, Tuesday, etc. Third, by category: type of deal such as drinks, food, recreation, etc. The search could be performed both by clicking on a location, then selecting the day which then lists specials offered by many businesses. I will also need the ability to update the data daily and weekly as these local deals change often. I would also need a submittal button for local businesses to email any changes to their content. I would also like this to be developed so that it could be viewed easily from a PDA. So, don't need much with respect to the design or graphics. ## Deliverables 1)Complete application that gives me and selected others to update and modify data. Due to the frequency of updates, and due to the technical inexperience of data entry personnel, this task must be done without programming knowledge. 2)This may require a database to eliminate the need for our data entry personnel to do this in HTML. 3)A search tool that allows someone to search for categories like business name, location, type of deal, day of the week. 4)Ability to search for information by "clicking through" a business name, location, type of deal, day of the week. 5)GUI must be clean and without a lot of graphics so it displays well on PDAs and mobile devices. 6)Ability for local businesses to submit their information via a form that lists their location, business name, type of deal, and day of the week. ## Platform Windows XP, Internet Explorer, and Firefox
