I need a bot that will do the following tasks: Once I enter a url it will: - Download a certain image on the page (example: page logo) - Extract article (there are 3 different article types) * Extract name, article content, rating, date - Extract article comments (comments left for the article) * Extract name, comment, date - Extract Post/Page tags - Extract Post/Page description Notes: There can be more than one article per page (most likely there will be depending on category) Then save it to my local computer or to my server. Data should be in excel or csv format (or similar) Each of the above are wrapped in tags and some use css classes. This will help the bot identify certain things. Would also like to be able to do batch jobs if possible. It can be written to run from the web (PHP) or from my PC (Windows XP) Please PM Questions
