I just need a few PHP code tweaks to my existing Wordpress site at [login to view URL]
I have had some custom PHP functions added to my Wordpress template in the past, and everything works fine, except for one problem which I will describe in #1 below. (the only custom stuff I have is located in the functions file and the [login to view URL] file so it should be easy for you to find and read) Everything else I need is just creating something new on top of what I already have.
Here is what needs to be done:
1. If you go to the "Must Reads" section by clicking on the top navigation bar, you'll notice some strange behavior as you move your mouse around the screen. For some reason, some of the site disappears and the re-appears based on where the mouse goes. I'm not really sure why this is happening and it needs to be fixed. I think it might have something to do with one of my custom php functions.
2. I need a better looking "Must Reads" section. Right now it is set up to display any item I put under the section, but I'd like the page template edited so that the bulleted list of links looks nicer by having a graphic on the left, then the title (link) on the right, and if possible followed by some descriptive text further explaining the link.
3. Right now you can see my opt-in form across the top of the home page and every other page except for Must Reads. It is programmed to go away only when someone signs up and confirms the opt-in. Right now it is a graphic with the form code in the middle, but I'd like to have a test version developed that is text-based, just like how [login to view URL] is doing it right now. I want it to say exactly the same thing it does now, but just in text instead of a graphic. I can give you the exact details when we begin.
And that's it for now. Should be pretty easy for someone who is good with PHP and understands what I need.
Thank you,
Greg
