524247 Magento: Layered Navigation by product options

ALl of the products in my store have options. There are several option across the store. i.e. color, length, width, material, function, etc. They are currently displayed on the product page. I need the options to be enabled by layers. I also need the options to display in a grid type of view as opposed to a selection on the product page.
